Your guide will greet you in Lisbon and drive south to a gorgeous hotel. We’d go to there because it’s a must, a real gem in golden Alentejo scenery. The accommodations, the food and wines deliciosos, oh… and the pool. Dress code, relaxed… the limit is your imagination…

Today we go further south to Sagres.

This surfing village has a wild and remote feel with an amazing vibe. Visiting can be a unique experience. Our favourite spots, Cordoama and Amado don’t get very crowded, even during summer. Surrounded by beautiful cliffs, they give visitors an impressive view.

Surf rocked, lunch was awesome … – can we ask for more? Why not? 

Odeceixe surfing offers a glimpse into what it must be like to live the surfing lifestyle.

Laid back… it’s easy to be seduced by its charms and imagine yourself settling here for good. Its position in the Vincentine National Park has spared it from rampant tourism and allowed it to maintain its traditional character.

Odeceixe is an amazing spot. Both for beginners and experienced.

Yes, we could stay here forever … but we’re just getting started. A five star lunch awaits us before the well deserved rest at our dreamy hotel.

Today we will be surfing at São Torpes.

Forget Ibiza. Forget the Riviera. In fact, forget the Med altogether. Portugal’s Alentejo region is lined with glorious beaches protected by Costa Vicentina National Park. The 100km of coastline from Porto Covo in the Alentejo to Burgau in the Algarve is the most stunning in Europe. And yet few people seem to know about it. Portugal is definitely on Europe’s top finest surfing destinies. After an incredible surf session, we sure need lunch. The table is set. Delicious local wine and food are waiting…

Tonight will be staying at the scenic A Serenada in Grândola. The location of the hotel is dreamy and the view is breathtaking, especially at sunset with that perfect wine… there’s still time to dive into the beautiful pool before dinner.

After the awesome breakfast and with our batteries fully charged we rock to Comporta beach, Portugal’s most glamorous surf beach retreat. There’s a lot of hype around Comporta and if there’s one thing I can guarantee you is that the hype is real. Comporta is unlike anywhere else. This charming location has become popular with European holidaymakers as a chic, stylish and laidback town. It offers wellness retreats, delicious seafood restaurants and seemingly endless pristine beaches.

Surfing here is incredible. After a delicious lunch and with our  batteries recharged, we drive back to our wine hotel, where we will have a beautiful wine tasting followed by a fabulous farewell dinner.  The gorgeous panoramic view completes the scene.

The owners clearly love and take care of the property. Beautiful interior design, friendly staff, excellent wine and food. All this in the midst of vineyards, olive trees, pines, hills and the ocean. Heaven!

Relax this morning over a well-deserved buffet breakfast before our drive back to Lisbon, where your guide will take you to your hotel or the airport.

We had a dreamy week and we are grateful for the incredible experience and all new friends.
